On Sunday mornings, SJCOC offers Children's Church from birth-5th grade. We are passionate about helping grow kids in Christ!
We offer four classes: Nursery (Birth - 3 years), Preschool (4s and 5s), 1st & 2nd grade, and 3rd - 5th grade. Join us as we worship, praise, pray, and learn God's word. On the last Sunday of every month, the entire SJCOC church body meets together for our Family Services. These are some of our favorite times to worship together!
Prefer to keep your little one with you? Be sure to check out our Nursing Moms/Busy Bee room available during service for mothers and children under the age of 3.

Your First Visit!
From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice lots of friendly faces eager to help you along.
Your first stop is the kid’s check in area. We want to serve you and your child well, so we’ll take some time to get to know you. We’ll ask about allergies, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. This sticker is what you’ll use to pick-up your child after service.
Bible Bucks!
Children ages 4 -5th grade have an opportunity to earn Bible Bucks during Children's Church. Once a month the Bible Buck Store opens for children to purchase items with their Bible Bucks. SJCOC Kids LOVE the Bible Buck store!

Do you have a heart for children?
Serving in Children’s is fun, simple, and everything is provided for each classroom. The commitment is about 1.5 hours monthly. Our volunteers often share how much they love building community with one another, their joy in watching children worship, and their fun in learning Bible stories they didn’t already know.
You don’t need to be professional teacher or an expert in Bible theology to jump into Children’s. All you need is a heart to serve. Lessons and material are provided, training is fun, and the kids are fantastic! Message us today for information about volunteering.
